Department of Pathology and Forensic Medicine, RRMCH organized this event which shed light on the topic: “Sudden Death in a young man “. The subject chosen for the conference is of great importance as the percentage of ‘Sudden death in young people’ has increased worldwide. Doctors and Medical researchers all over the world have started to give more importance to the phenomenon of sudden death as it causes death for almost 250,000 to 450,000 people in United States of America, every year. The reason of most ‘sudden-deaths’ happens to be cardiac arrest due to hidden heart defects or heart abnormalities. RRMCH Organizes ‘KISACON 2013’, a Conference on Anesthesia
RRMCH authorities, as a part of their enchanting journey to contribute to our nation’s medical services with innovative approaches, is organizing a three-day conference on anesthesia named ‘KISACON 2013’ from 13 to 15 September 2013, at RRMCH hospital, located in south Bangalore. The program is designed as a progressive step for anesthesiologists, to bring a global approach in treatment, to achieve a greater patient satisfaction. Breast Cancer Awareness Camp at ‘Bombay Rayons’ by RRMCH
World celebrate ‘Breast Cancer Awareness Month’, in every October to create and increase awareness about breast cancer which happens to be the reason for death to millions of women all over the world, every year. In accordance with this awareness program, a ‘breast cancer awareness camp’ was organized at “Bombay Rayons” in this November by RRMCH, for its women employees. The event saw a good turnout of enthusiastic participants, brimming with curiosity. There were demonstrations lectures by RRMCH faculties that shed light on the disease, in detail, which helped the participants to know more about its symptoms and the necessity of treatment at the right time. Many doctors also spoke at the event, breaking various myths over the subject. All participants were given pink bands, as a part of the program. The camp is generally observed as another feather in RRMCH humanitarian drive’s cap as it increased breast cancer awareness among women and also elaborated on its causes and treatments.
RRMCH Observes Rajyotsava day and Launches a Kannada Medical Book–First of its kind in the Country
Bangalore, November 28th, 2012: RajaRajeswari Medical College and Hospital, popularly known as RRMCH, has launched a medical book in Kannada named ‘Vaidya Saahithya Srishti’ this month, regarding Karnataka Rajyotsava Day, which is celebrated on 1st November of every year. This book is an in-house publication of RRMCH that will be available across Karnataka in all the major publishers’ outlets.
The book focuses on various subjects regarding medical know-how as well as a medical dictionary in Kannada language, which also elaborates on various common terms used for medical purposes.
