It gives me great pleasure in inviting you to IMSACON-2013, the annual conference and convocation of International Medical Sciences Academy. This year, IMSACON is hosted by the Karnataka Chapter of International Medical Sciences Academy in association with the Rajarajeswari Medical College and Hospital. Rajarajeswari Medical College and Hospital is an institutional member of International Medical Sciences Academy. The International Medical Sciences Academy was established as a Global Organization on the 28th of March 1981 at New Delhi as a registered society with regions in U.K., U.S.A., Australia, Rest of Asia, Africa, Europe and India. The registered World Head Quarters of the society are situated at New Delhi.
Dr. K. Jagadeesan, Honorary Registrar and International Co-ordinator and Global Advisor of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, U.K. Professor Emeritus, M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai and Director, K. J. Hospital, Chennai is the present president of the Academy. International Medical Sciences Academy is the only International Body, which encompasses All Disciplines of Medicine. The Academy is an associate member of the Council for International Organization of Medical Sciences. (CIOMS) Geneva.
We have a galaxy of distinguished speakers from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, Glasgow, U.K. and Mayo Clinic, Rochester, U.S.A. The deliberations will be on the theme of the conference “Medical Sciences Today and Tomorrow”. The conferences are a special feature of the Academy where Academicians, Educationists, Research Scholars and Medical Professionals can present, speak and exhibit poster presentations. The student community from medical schools in Karnataka and other states of India will get a great opportunity to present papers and exhibit posters on an international platform. The postgraduate students can also become a part of the academy by enrolling as associate members.
The Conference venue is Rajarajeswari Medical College & Hospital, Bangalore. Pre-conference courses will be held on the 4th of October 2013 and Conference dates are 5th & 6th of October. After a brainstorming session of scientific deliberations, the delegates can celebrate Dusshera, the festival of good overcoming the evil, at Mysore, and carry home pleasant memories.
